Our founder, Dr. Reshma Thomas, drew inspiration from the International Labour Organisation’s (ILO) Participatory Gender Audit approach. She identified a prevalent issue where many audits were merely surface-level assessments conducted by inadequately trained personnel, resulting in compliance for compliance’s sake rather than meaningful change.
Motivated to rectify this issue, Dr. Thomas established MAP with the vision of transforming the approach to gender audits. Our objective is to transcend traditional auditing by catalyzing deep and visible changes within organizations. We emphasize profound engagement and meticulous analysis over superficial evaluations, ensuring that our detailed, actionable insights integrate effectively into organizational strategies, thereby fostering sustainable growth and improved organizational effectiveness.
