Our Story
Before founding MAP by Equgit Solutions, I worked as a researcher, consultant, and facilitator, always drawn to the question of how institutions can become truly inclusive. My Ph.D. in Public Administration focused on transgender identity and public policy, and during that time I co-drafted India’s first transgender policy. That process taught me how deeply policies can shift when they are informed by lived realities.
Later, as an ILO-certified Participatory Gender Audit Facilitator, I began to see the gap between what audits could achieve and what they were actually delivering. Too often, they were reduced to paperwork and checklists. I knew they could be more — they could uncover blind spots, change cultures, and spark structural transformation. That conviction became the foundation of MAP.
Over the past 12 years, I’ve worked with governments, corporates, and international development agencies, leading audits, building DEI strategies, and designing gender-responsive monitoring and evaluation frameworks. Alongside this, I’ve also used art as a form of advocacy — creating installations and storytelling practices that open dialogue, challenge norms, and make policy personal.
At MAP, I bring these strands together — research, facilitation, and advocacy — to make sure our audits are not only methodologically rigorous but also human-centered. For me, this work is about more than compliance. It’s about equity, empathy, and helping organizations grow stronger, fairer, and future-ready.
